Dave Menosky, the owner at New England Running Company, has spent his adult life devoted to the sport, having worked at various medium-to-large sporting goods and running-accessories stores.
His career wins are pretty impressive, with the most notable (that I’m aware of) is finishing 8th in a 1985 (Long Beach, Ca.) marathon. But 24 years ago, a non-running accident abruptly ended Dave’s running career. So, after having worked in many of the area well-known sporting goods stores for runners, Dave opened NERC in 2001.

Dave and his long-time manager, Wes, met with John Deery (one of the principals of J.D. Associates) to see how Retail Pro would work in their store; increasing efficiencies was a goal which is always connected to increasing profits.
