On one of my workstations, I am receiving an error message once you double click on the RPRO icon just before the login screen: Win 32, error 5. I am on Retail Pro version 8. This is only happening on one workstation, any ideas?

Check the Retail Pro path in the environment variables. There should be 2 path statements:
f:\retail
f:\retail\rpro
This depends on your mapping settings. Also check the shortcut for RPRO launching out of the \retail folder. If you don't have these two paths, we can help you. Call support at 800.564.4488 x1.
Question
What is the easiest way for me to change cost & purchase prices? The changes are random, no set percent or dollar amount, and they are not across the board for this manufacturer.
Answer
You can do adjustment vouchers that change the sales prices, and inventory cost. To change the order cost, locate the Order C$ in inventory, or change it at the time that you write the PO.
