Caution: Use extreme care when cleaning the touch panel surface. Under no circumstances should any product be used that contains ammonia or chloride. These products can attack the plastic components and can cause corrosion of electronic parts.
Perform the following procedure to clean the display:
- Power off the system.
- Gently wipe the display with a soft, dry cloth to remove loose particles.
Gently wipe the glass surface of the display with a non-abrasive agent, such as isopropyl alcohol or a mild liquid glass cleaner.
Notes:
- Apply the alcohol or glass cleaner to the cloth and then wipe the screen rather than spraying the cleaner on the screen and then wiping.
- Make sure that the display is dry before powering on the unit.
