Fingerprint Login

This modification forces employees to use fingerprints when logging into Retail Pro.

If fingerprints are being used for an employee, then no password is entered in Retail Pro. The fingerprint is used instead. If a password is entered in Retail Pro, it is used instead of a fingerprint. Therefore, it is possible to have some “fingerprint” and “password” employees.

If a fingerprint is used, it is required at any time a login is done. This can be when starting Retail Pro, when using Log In from a menu or when login is required for an override.

This module comes with a plugin and a fingerprint registration utility.

The Digital Persona U.areU. model 4500 fingerprint scanner must be used.
