This is a gift card solution for a single Retail Pro Main. The user can issue gift cards as a tender type or using a jackpot row in inventory.
Gift Cards are redeemed using a Tender. When cards are redeemed the card number and new balance can be printed on the receipt. The modification includes a lookup function to determine the current value of a card.
There is also a Gift Card Maintenance function that allows the user to deactivate a card or mark a card as lost or stolen. If a Bill To Customer is placed on the Receipt when a card is issued, the card is tied to the Bill To Customer (for lookup purposes only).
Cards can be deactivated or marked as lost or stolen. It is also possible to print a report of cards with activation date, original amount, current value and status or export the gift card data to a text file with comma-separated values.
