The Scheduler is a Retail Pro feature that’s available in both versions 7 and 8; this webinar is open to those 7/8 Retail Pro users who have Software Assurance (formally Membership).

This 30-minute webinar will talk about various tasks (Retail Pro and non-Retail Pro) which can be scheduled as an activity. Below are a few examples of tasks and activities:
- Polling
- Reports
- Importing and exporting files
- Displaying reminder messages
- Shutting down/rebooting the computer
You define the times and the frequency for the reports to run. You can also schedule certain tasks to be “chained” so they run in a sequence that is logical:
POLLING: prepare files, exchange the mail bags and process them in.
